Well, today is the last day of what has been the worst duck season I can remember here and I started fifty years ago. My partner should be here in about twenty minutes and we're heading out to give it one more try. It's 17 degrees out and a fifteen mph wind gusting to 25. We're going seven miles up the river in my little duck boat, should be wide awake by the time we get there. You can bet we're going to limit the number of decoys we put out. I'll bet we're back home before noon. What do people who don't hunt ducks do this time of year?

Agree that this season has been poor--so far, that is. However, we just got a major push due to cold temps. There were *lots* of birds about this am. Funny that you guys close so early. We're open through January...
Hope you guys did well.
