Thought I would post this here first given it is an unusual flyfishing related search.
I'm looking for copies of Wild Steelhead & Salmon magazine. It was published from Spring 94 through Winter 2000. I am looking for the Spring, Summer, Autumn 1994 issues and Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn 1995 issues. Not looking for mint copies as I want them for reading.
Magazine changed to Fish & Fly in 2001 then was sold last year to a UK company of the same name.
Anyone have old copies they might part with?
Know of an old fly shop that might have a stash around?
Thanks,
Jeff

I've lotsa mags, but they're all boxed up and hard to identify. I did find one issue, the debut. It's an extra-tall format-- are the issues you want also tall? (If so, it would make my search simpler.)

Good morning,

Yes those are the ones. For some reason they printed the first two years in that format then went to the normal sized in 96.

Thanks,
Jeff

I find only the one issue. I'll send it along. I have your address.

If you sell it on ebay for lotsa, send me a percentage. smile

Hi,

Thanks very much! Can I send you anything for it?
I'm not planning to sell. Trying to finish up my collection of them. Had them all but on one of my many military moves a box disappeared, had these and some Gun Digests in it.
IMHO it was the best magazine out there WRT steelhead and salmon. Had a good mix of everyday flyfishing and the high falutin stuff. I cut my fly fishing/tying teeth on Atlantic's while spending my teen years in Newfoundland. Sure miss those days. I'm a 100% bluecollar redneck that flyfishes.

Finally getting around to sending it; sorry. As you might guess, it ain't easy to find an envelope to fit those oversize mags!
I should get to the PO this week with it.

Magazine arrived today. Looks great, many, many thanks!
Looking forward to reading it. Too bad the magazine changed then folded, was the best steelhead/salmon publication out there.

Thanks again,
Jeff

I always factor in at least an extra week for customs so that time frame is about right.
Takes a bit of getting used to. When I buy off the "Fire, I always let the seller know it will take a few extra days before he hears from me about reciept. Thought I let you know that but in reviewing this thread I see I didn't. My bad.

I prefer customs such as hanging a Christmas sock from the mantle, or hiding eggs on Easter Sunday.
Your custom of waiting an extra week doesn't sound much like fun.
