I'm a big fan of the sliders and it's what I have on my Alphamax right now. However, I'm going on a mule deer hunt out west that will probably be spot and stalk for the most part. Now I'm thinking I should go back to a muti-pin sight. I was looking at Fuse pilot, axcel, and spot hogg. They're all metal. I also like the .019" pins. This will be my first mule deer hunt and really don't know what to expect, but I'm thinking the multi-pin would be a little more efficient.

As an avid bowhunter for over 40 years I went with a Trophy Hunter vertical pin sight 4-5 years ago and love it. I do alot of spot and stalk hunts and it is my sight of choice. Sights are like rifle calibers, everyone has there favorite and what works for them. Just choose a sight with metal sight pin holder that can withstand the elements you will be hunting in.

Another vote for a Sword Twilight Hunter. Spot Hogg quality for a whole lot less $.

I like the Sword Apex Hunter. It has held up well and I'm not real gentle on the equipment. Can also get choice of pin color and size.
