I'm not trying to be a hero or anything but I need to do this by myself $ wise and here's why. I've dealt with these places with my mother-in-law before her passing, They treated her so bad and stole everything she had, even her underwear, her diabetes counter and that's what ultimately did her in. They play a merry-go-round of shipping you to the hospital for emergencies and then finding a new bed, usually means home, on release, with all items missing.
If you guys have money invested I will feel a need to take it further than needs be if they steal the computer, which they probably will, I know the risk.
Also, Tom, when we get Ken setup we will have to only have his personal programs that require discs and such when we are there, those will disappear and are too valuable. Hopefully most of his stuff can be downloaded and permanent in the computer.
Anyone have any other thoughts it would be appreciated.
Thanks, Kent

Kent, I hear you on the issue regarding things coming up missing. I would be happy to send a check to help get the computer and if you handle it no strings if something happens to it.

So I was listening to Ken and Tom discuss wildcats and a book Ken had written. The book was something about the history of cartridges and used by different agencies as well as private individuals, ect, it was a pleasure listening to them.
He turns to me and asks if I have the book in question. Embarrassingly I admit to being primarily a bow hunter and reload a little for my wife's guns, I have no gun books.
He smiled and said, well you can be forgiven then.
Cracked me up!

Tell me where to send my share. I'm in for $50 or $100. Tomorrow's payday. I'll know how much for sure then.

I appreciate all the offers, we will get this done here quickly and I believe without the need for money. Thoughts are what matter most and many good thoughts are directed towards Ken right now. Thank you. Kent

I about busted a gut when he said that Kent.
The book is Designing and Forming Custom Cartridges for Rifles and Handgun. Sadly I don't have a copy either, and they are not going to be printed ever again. I keep hoping someday I will luck into one somewhere somehow.
Ken has been a terrific help to me with the design of a wildcat I have been brainstorming on lately. He is sharp as a tack.

Anyone wanting Ken's book may want to look at this link - never mind, it's sold out.

Although I can talk on the phone with Ken a lot, it is a challenge to keep up with everything while 300 miles distant. If you fellows are successful with the laptop, I will do my best to find Ken's program discs and anything else he wants to load on there - and get it down there to you. Thanks so much for visiting with him. I think that Ken will be into the continued care facility by Friday and hope that being out of the hospital and with some other folks will be hepful.

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Acer-15.6-160GB-AS5517-5136/12347218Use the "Find a Store" option to see whether the store nearest you or Ken has one of these in stock. They might be able to order it for you, if they don't. I don't think you'll find a better price. Take note that this is a pretty large screened laptop.

What's Ken's address ? A few cards would let them know he is a man of importance. Good luck!

hawkins, he is being moved as soon as today from the hospital to a nursing center. As soon as he is settled in Tom or myself will forward the info so he can receive correspondence to those that want it here.
