Last night our youngest boy (AKA "Plays with matches") walked out into the kitchen where I was dishing myself up some supper and announces his most recent accomplishment. He comes around the corner from the bathroom direction holding a tuft of hair in his hand & he says "I did a haircut all by myself."

That boy's got skills.

Nice huh? grin

Well, what can you do but laugh? I said "wow buddy, I better get the camera huh?" Pam pretty much just stood there with that shocked look holding her hand over her mouth trying not to bust out laughing.

So, out came the clippers & we mowed the rest of his hair down to the same level of his shortest cut. Which was quite short.

the finished product

wow!! my youngest cut his not too long ago but not to the extent Joey did!! You;ll remember that for a long time i think! Seems all kids have to try that one time or another. Fine skills you have there Dave, never know when Tom might need one at camp! Can you get that in diesel power?

My late brother almost died at a very early age when he gave my sister a hair cut. My mother was ready to kill him. smile

Scott, does Lake Erie still have a population of Blue Walleyes?
They were darn near extinct than made sort of a comeback about 20 years ago when Erie started to clean up.

Hey Joe, that's the same style haircut Uncle Dusty has in the summertime.

I lived 2 blocks away from Lake Superior nearly all my life. you'd think I'd have fished them befor I turned 30 years old eh'. I'm glad I don't live near eastern WI, or I'd have a lot more money tied up in fishing gear. Fishing for those salmon is something you don't forget.

Those tails make some horsepower, 75hp sure doesn't seem that far off.

Yes, sir it was some fine eating.

The best part was...The crew I went out with, was there for a week. I went for the night. So they gave me all of the fish they caught the day before I got there, because of storage issues.

I had one happy wife when I came home with 50+ pounds of fresh salmon.

We ate like kings...heck, we ate Kings. grin

That is EXACTLY the reason my son has a buzz cut. grin

His sister had early aspirations of being "a haircutter". grin

It's real easy to brush his hair in the morning too. smile

At least once a week I that kid cracks me up, because I can still hear him say "UNCLE DUSTY, I'M NOT HAPPY". Man that made me laugh, and still does.

Nope...I've seen her with him. She's like my wife with our crazy boy. It'd be dad's fault somehow. grin

Bill, I can't answer that. The only true "blue pickerel" I've ever seen were out of a lake in Ontario we fished when I was a teen. I can't remember the name of it but it was a small hike in lake north of Blind River. I'll have to ask a friend who fishes Erie more than I.

We eat organic in our house, we just have to shoot and gut it first.....
