The article which accompanies this thread has *got* to be one of the most desperate attempts to slam Ron Paul that I've seen yet.
Somebody who claims tea party affiliation raises $15,000 in campaign funds,..and FOX spins it into an article which says that the tea party people are turning against Ron Paul,...lolol,..
"Fair and balanced",...as propaganda intended for the ignorant can be,...

I'd settle for a man with good ideas who has the intelligence to get others to buy into those ideas. If the Dems can con millions of Americans to walk to socialism, humming a tune and drinking a Coke, I would like to thing that a Republican or Independent or whatever could do the same - but reverse the direction.
We need to start "fighting dirty" in a sense.
All the ideas in the world don't mean chyt if you can't get them enacted and if you can't figure out how to do that - lets find someone who can. Most people prefer slavery to freedom. If they did not, we would not be in the mess today we are in.
Don't vote knothead, it only encourages them. Anonymous

Somethings up. There's really no need to slam RP. Maybe the takeover seems strongly possible so they're making the jump. If it gains traction, Paul or the Tea Party could be in some trouble.

Relax, Issac. The voting public has demonstrated that they're not smart enough to elect Ron Paul. You're close to my age,.... You don't have to worry about having freedom imposed on you during your lifetime.

It is refreshing to see you relaxing after your RP cheerleading display of 08. I'm also grateful you won't have to endure RP's idea of freedom, either. It does seem awesome on paper though, doesn't it??

Oh my! Ron Paul's seat in in the sights of the Tea Party folks. I hope one of our resident libertarians can 'splane this one to us. The only possible angle I can see is that maybe evil NeoCons have taken over the Tea Part. Imagine! link to story Et tu, Tea Party?
The Texas congressman who rattled the Republican establishment with his libertarian-leaning outsider run for president........and being so prickly with congressional colleagues as to render himself obsolete. He is on the Neo-Con hit list. What ever the Neo-Cons want FOX will provide.
The end of democracy, and the defeat of the American Revolution will occur when government falls into the hands of lending institutions and moneyed incorporations.

I see Bush's fan club is all in a tizzy again at the prospect of getting rid of that pesky anti-nation building fella.
Of course, in about 10 minutes they'll be on some other thread wondering why their taxes are so high.
I'm guessing they won't be able to put 2 + 2 together.

A state should have at least a shot at having a representative who's capable of getting things done....anything. RP hasn't accomplished a damn thing his entire political career. It's long past the time for him to go.
Grab some of Paul's excellent ideas (all 4 of them), grab a candidate with some clarity and competence who could mnanage more than a chuckle when the idea is presented and see where it goes. Right now, RP is about as productive as his statue. RP has long been an empty tank and is only taken seriously, with the exception of about 600K folks with a real brain,by another 1 million wingnuts who also can't be taken seriously.
RP never learned how to implement his ideas or to unite a responsible majority because of his actions and dealings with the irresponsible fringe and the socially impaired. That is solely on the back of RP. He's a great picnic leader and blimp advertiser but severely limited thereafter. Yeah, running with the political herd is soooo productive in America......... Looky here!--More Of The Same........ And then you wonder why........ Casey
