The 35 Rem Marlins are more popular in the East and, of course, the model and condition dictate price. $250 - $350 would be a good range for one in good cond, made in the past 30-40 years.

When I come across one in good condition I'll buy if the condition and price are right. Here's a 1951 336SC (sporting carbine) in 35 Rem. Paid $300 a couple of weeks ago. Pre-micro groove, no extra hole, solid, well-kept.

I picked this one up at a gun show in Jacksonville FL a few years back for $300. Excellent to near perfect condition. Made back in 1957.

I am always on the lookout for a "shooter" Marlin 336SC
35 REM, preferably drilled and tapped.

The Marlin 336 in 35 Remington is highly sought after in my area (WV, PA), and nice ones go for $350+.

That's about the goin' price here in South/Central TX.
Recently got a 336 SC in 35 Rem.

Not tapped and it will stay that way, at least until the next guy gets it.

hard to say here in West Virgina. I've been looking for a 35 for 2 years and can't find a late 50's or 60's model in a 35!!!

They are quite common in the Northeast and very popular. The prices that I see in VT, NH and ME are in the $350 to $400 range for the common 336. The SC is more like $500.

Mine was a gun show find. I believe its a 1957 model, straight stock. The scope is gone, but the mount is still there.
I have actually been thinking about selling the one I have. I don't use it, and I like the .30-30 cartridge better.

I just sold my 336a in 35rem and bought a newer (85) 336cs in 30-30. Second thoughts? Maybe a few, but cheaper ammo if I can find it.

I bought my 35 in a pawn shop for $275. It is the newer model with the checkered wood and the safety.
The best part was it had a Nikon 3x9 scope on it in see-thru mounts. I got rid of the mts and the scope is the older Nikon with glass that is better than the new Monarch series.
Great shooter too.

The 35 Rem is still popular in my neck of the woods.

I recently purchased a 1950 336SC in .35 Rem for $395 (included shipping & FFL broker charge). About 90%+ condition. Appears to be all original. Actually wish that it was tapped for a small 2.5x scope but will probably leave it as is. It now resides in the safe next to the 1950's .32 Win Special 336RC that was my father's.

Found a nice checkered one that's probably only a few years old it has a little spot here and there and a nick or two but overall a great looking rifle with the regular rifling for $325 I think I might have to have itgrin

My .30-30 needs a better looking cousin in the safe!!

As long as there is no rust, at that price it's a good deal.

I found a mid 50's one in great shape. This has a lyman peep on it. I was thinking my daughters could shoot their first elk with this one. Of course, today the wife said I could buy a new snow mobile if I sold a few guns. It would be hard to part with this classic even for a new sled.

I've never seen a .35 caliber anything in this state so I don't know what they would go for here in Kansas. This evening I purchased a 1958 Marlin 336RC in about 98% condition off GB for $425. I figure the price can only go up in the next few years and it was a beauty. It has the smooth walnut stock and it still has the front site hood attached. No swivels added so it is still in factory condition.
