WOW - no offense 4200M, but this post may lead to a schittstorm!!
What I think are the best, may not be what someone else thinks are the best. In todays barrel world, if you go with any one of the following, you won't go wrong:
Here are some good ones:
Bartlein Broughton Krieger Hart Rock Creek Lilja Shilen PacNor Brux Douglas
I am sure I forgot some too!! Other guys will help out with those.

I'm more concerned about the dude screwing them together. Some clean up better than others but it's just a piece of the puzzle.

I would like to add Lawrence Rifle Barrels. He is located in Montana and the last 4 barrels that I received are from him. They shoot every bit as good or better than the Hart,Shilen,Douglas,or Pac Nor barrels that I have had and clean up easy also.

Kreiger, Bartlien, & Broughton
Have owned all three....and I see more of these in the top ten of both short and long range BR than any other.
There are a lot of really great barrels out there, and probably we have never had it so good as the competition is fierce and the bar has been raised. But I think these three for now are at the top.

I am sure I forgot some too!! Other guys will help out with those. I agree with some of these but disagree on other's... I have had the best luck with Krieger...#1 have had good luck with Bartlein, broughton, Hart, Lilja and Mike Rock barrels, the Shilen match select has also been very good.... but the most over rated barrel and specifically on this site is the POS Pac-Nor. I know some of the Honk's on this site just drool every time they see a Pac-Nor barrel....but in reality they are second rate like a bennett , ERShaw or McGowen. RC828

If you say so. You couldn't pay me to run a Shilen or Hart.

I haven't owned a Lilja though a pard isn't overly hip on them.

.22....either another .223AI, or a tight twist .22-250...

Difficult for me not to say a 3 groove Pac-Nor, I've seen far too many of them do some crazy good stuff. Same with a Rock but at a far smaller sampling.
