sweet looking (I initially assumed it was new) low grade Remington 3200 O/U for $1100, is it worth it?

Yes and no.. If nothing's broken, yes.. They have an Achilles Heel in the extractor hammers.. It can cost some bux to fix.. But Laib's in Spicer, MN., specializes in repairing/restoring M3200s.
All in all, they're excellent shotguns.. I don't think the price is out of line at all.. Just check it over real good and test fire if they'll allow it..

I've got a 3200 "Special Trap" that I like a whole lot, it has a peen in the serial # to indicate it has been back to Remington for some mod/upgrade they required and it busts clays like nobodies business!
I actually plan on selling it here on the board in the next few weeks, as soon as I get some decent pics of it!
I don't shoot trap as much and am going to use the $$ to fund a Beretta skeet/sporting clays model.
Mine has 30" or 32" barrels and is choked Full/Imp Modified!

Concerning the Remington 3200 I have owned four and purchased my first when they first came on the market. Mine have all been field grade guns and the one i have now is the 26 inch IC&MOD . The 3200 has been one of my favorite O&U for many years. They have the best trigger of any shotgun i have owned. I used mine in SD on pheasants a couple years back and it dumped them. The only disadvantage of the 3200 is it is heavy for field carry. One of the best O&U ever produced in it price range. I have never had a problem with any i have owned. I like them. Just wished they had made them in 20 ga.
