Hi
I just spent about $900.00 on a savage 10 Fp , and a new weaver grand slam (6-20x40) less than a month ago , but I got the bug now .
I am now looking for a good bolt action .22 mag .
The thing is I don't want to spend much over $200.00 . Is there any thing that would fit into my price rang? "thats not a pice of junk ?".
I don't care who makes it . I would like it to be sny. stock , but I could deal with wood if the rifle shoots good .
Any ideas on what company to go with ? Any one know ware i could check out prices of rifles (ONLINE)?: [Linked Image]
Thanks: treeratkiller
[This message has been edited by treeratkiller (edited February 07, 2001).]

treeratkiller- you might want to check out the CZ-452 in .22Mag. My neighbor's son has a 452 in .22 Long Rifle and it is an excellent shooter at half the price of my Anshutz. Good shooting. Bob
[This message has been edited by Bob.280 (edited February 07, 2001).]

Go with a Marlin. I've got a 25MN that got a Laminate stock for X-mas and shoots great. Trigger can be cleaned up, and if you go to www.unitedforums.com (see Marlin Board, 22 Mag site) you can get extra info. on other improvements. I spent $150 +tax (Wally World) for mine (I noticed they have gone up in price) The stainless 882 goes for $188 +tax.
Good Shooting...
Den-Den

LOL .... I have been racking my brain trying to think of a rifle manufacturer that makes a good shooting .22 mag in my price rang .
In the all the confusion I forgot all about savage !
In all the hours I spent drooling over the modle 10 fp that would soon be mine I never looked at there rimfires !
I found a 93 fvss for $195.00 (fatory price was around $225.00) and I bet my local gun shop would order it for under $180.00 ?
"They sold me the modle 10 fp for $390.00 , so you never know" .
Regards: treeratkiller
