I've come across this exercise in a number of classes for recertification of my teaching certificate. It provides for some very interesting and thought-provoking discussion. My list constantly changes, depending on my concerns and interests of the moment. Right now, I would go with the following list.
Jesus Christ - I'd like to know how what "religion" is currently doing compares with what he had in mind. Lee Harvey Oswald - I would like to know exactly what led him to do what he did as well as the details of the act, including whether he acted alone. Anyone else involved in the Kennedy assasination should he not have acted alone. Whoever it was that built the Oak Island money pit - How it was built and what it contains have always fascinated me.

Jesus of Nazareth for reasons previously stated - would like to hear it from the original source. Plus, it would be fun to ask the waiter to bring more water.
My biological mother and father - never met them, it would be nice to get acquainted.
I'm not very sociable, those would be enough.

Hitler Micheal Wittman Erich Hartmann Ho Chi Minh Kurt Cobain Stalin I dined with Adolf Galland. Is that close enough to Hartmann and Hitler?

For me, it would be (in no particular order):
Ronald Reagan Theodore Roosevelt Thomas Jefferson Benjamin Franklin Robert E. Lee

1. The Lord Jesus Christ - but I have a date for supper with him at the marriage supper of the Lamb. 2-3. Moses and Elijah (at the same time) 4. Ezekiel - just to ask him what the heck the deal with the wheels is all aut. 5. My Dad and grandson at the same time. He'd be proud, I'm sure.
