They could be..

But ,

Someone here would need a detailed description of condition, markings and some pics to ascertain any value..

Just like a gun..

The KVs are the earliest Variable scopes Weaver made and were built in the 1950s.

They were unsual in that they were NOT variable power adjustment was not continuous but only offered the two extrme settings 2.5 or 5 etc.

The KV 2.5 was the earliest model and I think it came out in 1952. It did not have a constantly centered reticle- it moved within the feild of veiw as POI adjustments were made.

Also those early scopes were not fog proofed.

In 1956, Weaver upgraded them to the KV 3-5 60 model. They had constantly centered reticles and were fully sealed and nitrogen filled.

Both KV scopes were pretty compact being about 1/4" longer than a fixed k-4 and about 2 ounces heavier.

The KV line was replaced in 1960 by the V-8 scope which was a continous 2-8 variable scop with external adjustments.
In 1960, they were replaced with the V8 externally adjustable variable.

Without actually seeing the scopes it is pretty hard to establish a firm value.

The KV 60 is the more valuable of the two as it is fog proofed and has the centered reticle. Depending on the shape is is in it would be worth $40 to $100.

The KV 2.5-5 is worth anywhere from $25 to $50 to depending on condition.

+1

I got several old Weaver scopes on old Rem 722's that I bought, as part of the package.
I plan on KEEPING all of them.
One, a K-6 looks like it was never mounted on a rifle (no ring marks); it's just like new.
