Nice. I'm out in the best trout country in MD right now and it's pouring rain. Hope to cast a fly in a couple days if it stops.

A few more pics. I was using mostly flies size 20-22 ( beatis, midge, sparkle duns). I had lots of hook-ups but lost the majority of fish because of small fly size.

I lived in MD 10 years ago. Used to fish West branch Potomac, Savage, Gun Powder and other rivers out there. Was not bad fishing. Kind of miss it

Were you floating or wading?

Used drift boat and waded. Found most browns in the deep holes and brought them up using heavy sink tip and weighted bunny streamers. RB's required small flies and 6x with long tippets. Very educated trout as they see a lot of flies

Ribka: Good to see some shots where one is willing to get close to the fish. Nice pics. Thanks

We're in a cabin at Deep Creek right now on vacation. Going to hit the Casselman and if the flows go down, the Savage. I live about 20 minutes from the GunPowder but fish the Patuxent and Patapsco more as I'm 10 from those.
