Just bought my first non-bolt .22 rimfire. How do I avoid messing up the crown while cleaning from the muzzle and keep the crud from getting clogged in the action? Thanks for any help. 1B

When I clean my 10/22, I tear the whole thing apart and I use a J. Dewey Fiberglass cleaning rod so I dont mess up the barrel.
Keeb
Don't criticize someone until you have walked a mile in their shoes. That way, your a mile away and you have their shoes.

Take some strong fishing line and thread it through
the barrel. Tie your wet and dry patches to the line
and pull them through the barrel. Any other type of
strong thin nylon line will also work

WHAT! CLEAN a 10/22!

never heard of it...didn't know you had to.

Have had mine for 3 years never cleaned it, still shoots .25 inch groups at 50 yards with right ammo.
Whatever you are willing to put up with, is exactly what you will have.
When your ship comes in. ... make sure you are willing to unload it.
PAYPAL, sucks and I will never use them again. I recommend you do the same.
