i stopped bowhunting several years ago during a series of moves we had to make to get the job situation sorted out. everything seems smooth now, so...
local archery shop is fantastic, stock about everything. and that's where the problem is - too many options for someone who has not kept up w/ the sport.
i am looking at a bear 'strike', bear 'charge', and also noted a comparably priced hoyt. i am looking to be into this for about $500 for everything except arrows, field points, broadheads, and targets. i want a fairly small, light bow. i hunt from the ground, and will be pursuing deer for the most part.
can anybody provide some feedback on some bows in that price range - or a recommendation, or something...?
