I am having trouble finding out which one piece talley rings will fit my Marlin XS7. Heard rumor that the Winchester Mod 70 rings will fit but would like to confirm prior to buying.

I used that already, but there is no XS7s that come up on the list. Am I ok if I order the XL7 even though the action length is longer on the XL7 vs. the XS7 since I am going with the talley one piece rings all I need to ensure really is that the tapped mounting holes are the same on the XS7 as they are on the XL7??

I'd call Talley directly. They'll not only tell you which bases fit your rifle but also which height ones you need for the scope your using. GREAT people to deal with.
