Your 'sick' wood and blue STW is waiting for you at Al Siegrist's shop in Whitemore. You send him a a 7mm Rem Mag and @ $225, he sends you back what you want.
I've done it with #1s in a 300 H#H, a 6.5x55, a .338.06, a .338 Federal and a .35 Whelen and never regretted it. They shoot as good or better than the factory oringinals.
Waiting -- and pleading -- for Ruger to do it right is a Mug's game.

On second thought, a rechaMbering alone FOR A 7mm Rem Mag would cost you a lot less than the $225 for a rebore and rechamber.
