Wouldn't you know it, the second I make up my mind and buy something, the thing I really wanted comes along.

As such, I for sale a brand new Kimber 84m Classic in 243. The wood on this rifle is really nice, as shown in the pics.

I'm looking for cash on this deal, no trades. $850 plus shipping to your FFL, just looking to get what I just spent!

Where you at in Iowa? That's the nicest wood I've ever seen on a Kimber.

F'ing steal. Wish I didn't have 4 .243 deer killers already or I'd be all over this. If it's still here when I get back from Vegas Sunday (highly doubt it) I'll take it. Consider it SPF if it doesn't sell by Sunday at 8 pm.

Don't let me muddy the waters, mdchambe. Killertraylor, congratulations on a beautiful rifle. I promise I won't buy it out from under you as I don't have the money, just the desire.

Please feel free anyone to jump in and save me from myself - you won't be stepping on any toes. I'll buy it if it's still here Sunday night, but won't be disappointed if someone who has more use for it than I gets it first.

That's all magnanimous and all but you're hoping it's here on Sunday evening. grin

Being left handed sure does save me a ton of money. wink

I'm a lefty too, nsagam. That said, I figure I can deal with a RH rifle, although I would prefer LH. Keep waiting for CZ to make the 550 in LH.

That's what I used to think too but eventually I came to believe that if a company didn't care enough to make a left handed rifle I didn't care enough to give them my money.

BTW, you're in luck on the CZ550 in left hand.

If it was chambered in something besides .243 I'd be inclined to jump on it, but I'm just not a fan of that cartridge. It's a very nice looking rifle though.

The October 2009 issue of Guns and Ammo has an article on the LH CZ550 by famed lefty Craig Boddington.

Yeah - .243 is a bit light for killing ANYTHING. In addition to Delta Hunter, these critters don't like the pea-shooter either... grin Kill yardages were 315, 385, 250 and 390. All with Barnes 85 grain tsx. One shot boom flops.

Thanks...I was apprehensive at first because of his low post count
but then again, I remembered the main reason I joined the fire.
I'm betting he's a stand up guy like the rest of us...

ETA...after mouthing off about buying one in the "Hunting Rifle Forum" I figured I didn't want the reputation of letting my alligator mouth overload my hummingbird ass.
