Us too. I have the week off and the kids don't have school. We're going up to Grandpas to work on the '78 f150 for a few days.

Hoping to get the floor all done. I'd like to get one of the box sides on too. I've yet to get all of my list done in time, since there's always something.

I'm taking one day to hit the woods for grouse and scounting with my BIL.

Truth is I screwed up my back last week so that's slowing me down a little.

It'll be fine though.

Been there, and it's a bish. Try walking, it does help. Sitting around only makes it worse.

i have this week off too and I love it! A feller could get used to not working pretty easy methinks.

Just got back from hunting roosters in my willow/cattail swamp. Man, I love hunting them there! Every bird is a trophy for sure. My neighbor and I got 3 this morning. Very fun day afield.

ND, take care of that back my friend. Mine gives me grief from time to time so I know what you are going through. Take care of yourself and do what you are supposed to do with it and dont do something stupid for machismo's sake. Best of luck.

Had a great day on the old Ford today. Floors are done but the carpet and bolting the trans. cowel back down. Got the rest of the patches in and welded. Welded the seams of the stuff that needed it. Some the panels I made while my dad was gone, I rived in, so I welded around the perimeter of those too. The floor should be solid as heck. Then I sprayed rust proofing all over the welded seams. Bird hunting/scouting tomorrow so the truck will have to wait until Thursday.

Thursday and Friday I should have a good start on the box sides.

Pics when I get home.

Over 24 hours without a post here. Eerily quiet....I wonder what ND is up to.... confused

took my 7 yr old girl out rooster hunting yesterday afternoon. Hunted for an hour and got 2. She got to watch a great dog/rooster chase. The rooster hunting isnt as bad as people think it is!

I will be attempting to get my man-card back tomorrow night.

http://www.swcbulletin.com/event/article/id/19636/group/homepage/

I'll be one of the goalies on the NHL alumni team. I've been playing with the alum for years now, but am excited about this game, as I have not done a charity game with Walz or Housley before.

(excuse the bragging, but I can't brag about my mad hunting or shooting skillz on here, so I'm going with what I am good at....)

Yeah Rooster I do. I'll update that one when I get home and get pictures up loaded.

We made great progress in the last couple days. The floor is completely done but the carpet. We got a wheel arch panel on the left side of the box, got it welded on, two coats of fiberglass on it and LOTS of sanding. Now would be the time to rob a bank because I don't have any finger tips left. grin

Tomorrow that side should be wrapped up and maybe starting on the right side. It's really starting to come along well.
