I have some more 50 beowulf data that I dug up off the net. And some 458 Socom data that can be useful info to help with 50 loads.
If anyone is interested I'll dig it up and sit down and try to type it all in. Figure I'll ask first. All disclaimers apply as I've not tested any of it yet.
Or email me and I'll drop you a personal email if that works better.
Ricky-- you might want some of this maybe?

At your convenience. Thank you!
I hope to get out this weekend to try the loads I've had rolled for a couple of weeks now. Either the weather or schedules just hasn't cooperated. I'm particularly interested to see how the Barnes will shoot. I have the 275 & 325's in the Barnes, 300 GoldDots and more 350 Hornadys. The Speers sure are cheap compared to the rest!
It is a fun gun to shoot and I've figured that I can turn my scope mount around a gain some eye relief so maybe I won't split my nose open afterall <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />!
I'll let everyone know how she shoots if I have the opportunity to find out.

Ricky - let me know on the barnes. I'd love to have mine stoked with barnes 275s the next time (if) a legal deer or hog shows up!
Here goes on loads
50 beowulf
Speer 325 H- Lil Gun 37.2 Hawk 400 Reloader 7 47.4 AArms 334 Lil Gun 37.9 Power Belt 420 steel tip(???) Accurate 1680 45.2 Barens 325 Accurate 1680 47.0 Sierra 350 Lil Gun 35.4 Sierra 350 H4227 38.5 Sierra 400 Reloader 7 48.6
CCI #350 Mag Pistol Primers ( I suspect we use pistol primers to show pressure signs sooner. I also suspect that with 40+ grain charges one might have better luck with a rifle primer. If thats the case I'd load up with pistol primers one round at a time till I found pressure signs and then start a few grains back with rifle primers and not exceed the max pistol primer load OR the MV from the pistol primer loads-- all disclaimers apply as this is only MY thought train)
I'm gonna put down 458 Socom ammo(best I know its the beowulf necked to 45 cal basically so the data has relevance)( and though I have data on other bullet weights I'm gonna stick in only the 300 grain data as its most relevant-ps its the barnes 300 data to boot- which is basically on average 2 grains less than 300 Hornady data)
458 Socom(MV from a 16 inch tube) 300 Accurate 1680 38.1 @ 1816 300 Alliant 2400 28.5 @1802 300 IMR 4198 38.9 @ 1845 300 IMR 4227 35.1 @ 1809 300 H 110 35.4 @ 1842 300 Norma 200 43.1 @ 1889 300 Win 296 35.2 @ 1888
As mentioned this is all off the internet so I can't claim anything. I do think, according to the loads I'm using in my gun, these may be a tad on the warm side. And the socom data had a note with it that those loads were hot in that gun, almost too hot.
Use with caution and discretion as your mileage may vary.
