alright.

we're actually pretty good right now with the ability to sleep 12 at camp without getting any cots out.

set of bunks in the girls room would just bump us up to 13 so it's really... I dunno if it's even really worth it.

probably one of those things that would be worth it if it's free or close to it.

We actually have some bed frame stuff left over from last years bunk project under the cabin out back.

they will probably have a few spare parts left over, like the hardware for the bedframe, mattresses etc.

No worries Paul , I feel the same way about staying local. cool
Our tire guy is small , he had hit a wall trying to get a couple specific brands /tires / sizes in and it would be a month wait at min. My wife tried the klingons and they were on the front porch in a few days .
Tire guy said the price was great ( as good or better than his ) We ordered the 2nd set for my truck and same happened .
I think he now uses them when he needs to because it is a 1 week order for any tire , and after 12 + years doing buisness w/ him he now sends me home with a bucket of wheel weights every time I visit whistle

The tires I have on my truck that T Zone referenced a few pages back are General Grabber AT2's in a 265/70R 17. They are almost identical to the BF Goodrich All Terrain TA's only in a 4 ply not a 6 ply and about 1/2 the price.

So far I really like them alot.

Ah yess that tree. i had the opportunity to bump into it with the dozer when the camp was just a muddy lot. I maybe could have saved a bunch of rear bumpers? I have a pic of that tree with a dozer menacingly close around here somewhere. grin

I'll look

Pretty good tire. That price isn't bad considering they're truck tires, that seems to be the going rate.

Yep , they look good !!! If your looking for a great snow tire / mine and my wifes exp w/ them have been great !!! Even after a few NYS winters they still have the gription ( sp)
Them silly bfg mud terrain tires I bought once ( they looked cool and looked like they would be be good in the snow as well as mud ) left me spinning in the snow and ice. When the coopers just walked right through it.

Have a set on my '98 f-150, not bad when they were new (late '06) can't remember how many miles I have on them but I am just about down to the wear indicators on the rear. I admit that I never rotated them tho'.

It's all them little cut lines in the lugs that tell the story, that's a snow tire for sure.

It lets the lug block flex & maintain surface contact with what's between the road and your tire (ice & snow)

Here's what the face on a 245/75-16 firestone winterforce looks like. The lugs get bigger & open up more than this on a 265/70-17

similar with the little flex cuts on the lugs.
