With a stith mount and a Texan scope. Never saw one before.
Well we're Green and we're Gold, and we play better when it's cold. All us Cheese heads have our favorite superstar. We love Brett Favre.

My Dad had a Texan scope on a Mauser 30:06 in 1955.It had a post crosshair. Looked like it was made by Weaver, but that is just a guess.

To quote from an old magazine article: "The Norman-Ford Texan and Maxwell Smith G88 came out in 1946, both similar to the prewar Alaskan with 7/8" tubes. Neither would remain long in production. Leupold began offering scopes on 7/8" tubes in 1947 but by the mid-'50s had gone to the more popular 1" tube."
