Favorite cartridge? Based on the amount I shoot it and the number of guns I have chambered for it - the .22lr, of course. Based on the amount I would like to shoot it and the guns I like (I only have one) that are chambered for it - the .45acp.

7mm-08. Got two handguns chambered for it and love it.

In an auto I like .45acp.

In a single shot .30-30, Revolver 357mag, and in an auto 10mm. Still need to buy the 10mm however, looking to the Glock 20 to fill that bill!!

Oh boy! Well, lets see: .38 Spl for plinking, 357/125gr XTP-HP for home defense, 45 ACP just because it is a 45 ACP.
Love shooting the 45. 22LR ain't bad in the desert either. you know, shooting those pesky beer cans that keep showing up!

oh if we can split it betwee revolver and pistol then:

revolver: 357mag

pistol: 9mm luger

not sure about where the little .22lr would fit in, but would hate to have to leave it out!

Pretty simple really: 44spl, 250gr of Keith bullet; 17gr of 2400, or 9gr of Unique.
I like the .44 Special too. Too bad there aren't more revolvers designed just for it. I wish Smith & Wesson had made a five shot K-Frame along the pattern of the Model 13/65 with the three inch barrel and round butt frame.

Otherwise, I really like the .45 ACP in either a revolver or a 1911.
