I am getting light primer strikes with my Guide Gun.
The firing pin is hard to push with the lever closed, it is free in the bolt.
I have cleaned the bolt but not lubed the FP.Do I need to lube the pin? If so what lube?
The rifle has been fired about 200 times.

I would pull the bolt from the gun and flush out the firing pin and firing pin bore with Brakeleen and then put a drop of gun oil on it as you may have powder residue in there.I have also seen a couple of broken firing pins, both the front or rear half and that will cause a misfire. If you have a small punch you could also remove the retainer pins and inspect the firing pins. Also does your hammer seem to have a decent amount of spring tension? and do you have anything obstructing the hammer movement, such as a low mounted scope?Let us know what you find.
