In 1975, the model depended upon the config.
24" bbl, 2/3 mag, PG stock = Model 336A 20" bbl, full-length mag, PG stock = Model 336C (Carbine) 18 1/2" bbl, full-length mag, straight-grip stock = Model 336T Carbine (Texan)
.

well it seems to shoot pretty good. i've had it about 4yrs now but haven't been able to shoot it much. when i got it it i removed the bullseye at an indoor range from 25yds so at close range it's awesome. also got my first deer ever with this gun about a month ago, so it can kill a deer. finally got out to a 100yd range a couple weeks ago when i was teaching my daughter to shoot and took it with me couldn't seem to hit the broad side of a barn, but i'm sure it was my fault though as i hadn't cleaned it at all since i got it and have put a box and a half of rounds through it and i was trying to sight it in differently than i normally try to. i finally got a little serious about the gun here recently after reading about how fouling can affect accuracy so i did my research and learned how to take it apart to clean it good and now it's clean as a whistle just have to get out to the range again. but i love the gun and have always liked leverguns but had a time finding one that had a big enough stock as i'm a decent sized fella all the ones i had looked at felt like little pop guns when holding them and then i found this one the day i was heading back home for christmas it felt great and was at a good price.
