Ingwe: I have also Hunted in Alaska MANY times - I would not be caught dead Hunting in Alaska in a pair of jeans.
Not only are the chances of spooking game higher but the risk to ones health and well being in the outback of Alaska precludes anyone with an ounce of sense from doing something as stupid and as easily corrected as Hunting in blue jeans.
Sheesh.

Unbelievable. Can't hunt in jeans? During the "lean years" a pair of carhartt fleece lined jeans over long johns managed to ruin many a hunt for me. Man that looks frigid.....you must be a rough ass! It were a might inclement but thankfully my non-baboon ass managed to stay warm long enough to pull the trigger on the 870, the little one ran back into the swamp, which thankfully was frozen in most areas, so I only got mildly wet dragging her out. IIRC, I got home and asked my darling bride to take the pic and she muttered something about the temperature before handing me back the camera. I was wearing one of them old black and red plaid wool coats that some folks say you can't hunt in as well.

Another fuggin' hunt that was ruined by blue jeans... Had to go to Alaska-where it was overcast- the sky was spooking the game so much.
