I'm looking for load data for my 257 Roy using IMR 7828 and 100grn TSX.
Any help would be great.

Wish I had data, but just want to comment that IMR 7828 was the laying on of the hands for a 240 Weatherby. Couldn't get Reloader 22 to shoot for beans.
Let me know how it does in your 257 please.

You could consider using RL22 with that 100 gr. TSX- a number of us on the Fire use it in our .257's, for velocities in the 3700 fps neighborhood, and at least in my case, with great accuracy to boot.
I'd rather be a free man in my grave, than living as a puppet or a slave....

Thanks for the replys.
I am a little reluctant to Try RL22. I haven't had much luck with it. I tried it in 2 differant 25-06s with 100 grn partions and my 243 with 95 grn partions and had not so good results. I have been reading how guys have been getting good results with IMR 7828 and 100grn TSXs in there ROYs and thought I would give it a try. None of my manuals have any data for thie combo.

Same here. Average with two different chronos is 3,700 firing 100 TTSX. The last time at the range I fired one to verify sighting. Then just to be sure I fired one more. They were touching. The next one I fired was a few days later. It killed a deer.
After that I took off the scope and put the Weatherby up for sale.

R25 has been working good for me also, but with 115 TSX. My rifle shoots this load into .25" groups. Think I'll try R25 with some 100 TTSX next. I didn't have much luck with R22, IMR7828, or H1000. Wish I could find some Norma powder. Does anyone know where I can buy some?

My rifle likes the 100 TTSX with R25 at about 70 grains.

i have had better accuracy with Reloader 25 and Hammer HUnter 103 gr. bullets . 3680 FPS average , its in the Berger reloading book
