Wow I like these a whole whole bunch! If I ever build an AR it'll be similar to these.

Thumbs Up for sure DJ.

This is a terrible thread. You guys all have the disease.

Must not... be tempted... must resist... the dark side.

Oh, hell, maybe just one for coyote zappin'. Let's hear some recommendations, starting with the best "stock" models.

Peace River Classic.

Powder coated, fluted, laminated, TiN coated, MK trigger, etc, etc.

And, it shoots under 1/2 MOA. grin

Sweet rigs!

Here's mine--223 AI ISSI upper/old DPMS VLD Magazine allows for good 75 A-Max bullet seating depth to "magazine length."

My Tactical 20 I put together several years ago. Upper by DTECH. The lower was my first build with an ACE stock and Timney trigger. It is like a laser out there on the PD fields.

The is when it was out stretching it's legs last summer in northern Arizona. Best shot of the day was 380 yards.

I've posted this pic elsewhere but it needs to go here also now that I've finished putting the second one together. One is 100% RRA and the other is RRA except for the stripped lower.

That is different. cool

With the stock set up does it still require the extra high rings?

AR rifles have reached the point where they all pretty much look alike. Parts is parts, as the old chicken commercial says.

Here's mine.

.223 20" Krieger 1 in 7.7" twist SS barrel, Daniel Defense 12.0 Lite Rail, A2 stock, Timney trigger and a US Optics 1.8-10X44 scope. It's a nice accurate rifle.
[Linked Image]

6.5 Grendel 18" Satern 1 in 8.75" twist SS barrel. Carbon 10" tube, ACE stock, RRA MN trigger and a Leupold MR/T 2-7X35 scope. I only have about 60 rounds down the barrel but it looks VERY promising. On it's last trip out 3 of the 4 groups I shot were sub MOA.
[Linked Image]

I think this is the ultimate AR fun gun. It's a S&W 5.45X39. It's basicly bone stock except for the Troy rail and ACE stock. It wears a Burris 2-7X?? Fullfield Tactical scope and is just a hoot to play with It's reasonably accurate and cheap to shoot.

I guess they do sorta look the same but they never seem to get old grin

Some great looking rigs in here!

Here's mine: It's a SPIKES 5.56. Upgrades: Muzzle Break is a PWFSC 5.56, SPIKES Free Float, R-Guns Nickel Boron BCG, CMC trigger, and that is the SPARC red dot. I already had the flashlight.. so why not? I'm probably going to swap it and the foregrip out for a bipod in the coming weeks.
