Dave-I ran a 240 Page Souper Pooper for a while, fairly close to a 6AI if I recall right. Shot a lot of chucks with it, some lopes/bruins/deer etc.

Like the round but found I like the 6/06 mo betta. My first barrel went 1700 rounds, pretty much all in the killing fields. Shot lots of chucks/yotes/porcupines and quite a bit of small/big game (deer/lopes/bruins). We've found the round to be very capable and very user friendly!

.243AI has better brass option, plus it works better as a repeater in the short action. I prefer short action over long, and definitely want a repeater, so those are my main advantages

The Scenar's are great bullet's, weight uniformity is the best I have found, bearing surface length is also the most consistant I have found.
Only problem I have found with them is that they dont expand for game use.......great target bullet's
