Every Gerber Freeman that I've seen was made in China. Hard to believe that they can sell American made for the same price. Just sayin'......

That's a good price for that knife...they usually cost a lot more than that. They sorta bend ya' over on shipping though...

Not bad for three... But when I asked em' about buying one, they said the shipping was still 12 bucks! 24% for shipping is kinda steep to me.

Just ordered three of the E-Z-Outs after reading many favorable reviews. Might be a good companion to my son's Gerber LMF he's taking to the sandbox.

Same price on the Freeman's, and with the Promo Code:
CCPENNY
shipping for your order is only $.01 (applies to other knives also).
Just thought I would share. Got the info from a friend of mine....

Thanks Joe. That's a 'heads up' that is appreciated. That 1 cent shipping price made all the difference to me. Genuine stag scales, S30V steel, 'Made in U.S.A.', and a nice design, at an unbeatable price. One for me, and one for a gift. Good deal for sure. Thanks again.

A friend told me about this deal from Sportsmans Guide...a Puma Catamount of genuine stag and 440C...for $30 bucks. The Gerber above and this Puma will make decent 'gifters' for guys that help at huntin' camp doing cookin' and such.

I like the Puma far better, it wouldn't be beneath me to carry one afield. Wish they wouldn't write all over the blade.

I'm sorry man, it wasn't real recent...it was about 7 months ago when he put me on this deal. Just wanted to show that a heads up (like the one about the Gerber) can be a real good one sometimes.
BTW, you were the one who gave me the 'heads up' on Harvey King's Small Game...that was a good one.

For me, personally, I find it hard to spend $50 on a production knife when I can buy a Harvey King small game for $125 and get Harvey King quality. I think that some of HK's knives are priced below their "real" value, at least their value as compared to much of their competition.
I have been buying Cold Steel Canadian Belt Knives for the kids who score 100% in my Hunter Education classes. Sometimes, that gets a little pricy, even for $12 per copy, when there are 25 to 30 kids in the class.

Agreed. Harvey's Small Game and Personal are two of my absolute favorites. They feel better in my hand, especially the Personal, than any other. And his quality is second to none. His knives are finished beautifully.
You're a good guy for doin' that with the kiddos. I like the Roach Belly even better. I bought some in December online for $10 bucks. Made great Christmas gifts.
ps - don't see you on this forum much...wish you'd be here more often...

Thanks for the kind words!
I don't consider myself to be a connoisseur of knives, just a simple user with a focus on value and utility, so I don't often feel that I have much to add to the conversation.
