I have two Winchester 94 AE rifles. One is chambered in .356 Winchester. The other is in .444 Marlin.

Any of you know the exact model# of peep sights I should order for these rifles.

Thanks, TS

I think I may have answered my own question. I am going to give these a try. - Williams FP-94 BBSE Receiver Peep Sight

Both the screwdriver-adjustable Williams Foolproof FP-94AE and the cheaper, sliding grubscrew adjustable Williams 5D-94AE will bolt on & fit your rifles, and zero using a front sight of issue height.

Don't forget to remove the rear barrel sight(s) for a clear peep sight picture - and either buy a dovetail slot filler, or file one up from the dovetail portion of an old longleaf rear sight.

You're welcome, TS.

BTW, XS Sights also makes a top-mount peep for your 94AE, but I didn't mention it earlier because the Williams are less expensive ( $35 & $60, vs $90), and don't require a taller front sight to zero, like the XS (being higher) does.

My recommendation was based on the K.I.S.S. principle, but YMMV, of course. wink

Removing the barrel sight may not be necasary, as the ones that came on the big bores were folders.

FWIW, I have a Williams Foolproof that was on a regular 94. It looks like it will fit my big bore with just a little filing on the back side to clear the swell in the receiver. I'm going to try fitting it and take the slide off for backup sights to the scope. Some of the sights that mount on top using the scope base holes are pretty bulky looking.
