Hello. I picked up a rifle today. It's made in brazil by amadeo rossi for interarms. It is in 45LC and says model is 65SRC. It has 20" barrel and large loop lever. Serial # is AM 05XXX. Could anyone tell me when it was made approx. and an average value? It's about 95%+ condition. Bore is shiny and looks new. Thanks ahead of time. I'm not looking to sell it I'm just interested in any info.

I sold one, with a bolt peep installed, about a year ago for $400 + S&H, that was in virtually new condition, with it's original box/papers.
It was most likely underpriced, since it sold within 30 mins of posting my ad in forum classifieds.

Thanks for the info. From what I've foung through searches it looks like interarms had them imported from approx. 66 til their demise. Then from 76 til the 90's they were imported for Rossi/Puma and had top safetys. I'm still not sure about any of this but if someone has better info. please let me know. I'll try and get some pics,it's very nice and even has some wood patina in front of barrel band. Thanks again

By the book - 376.00
More realistically - 450.00
I'm not aware of a serial number database for them, but my best guess would be late 70's. I would think a 5000 serial number would have popped up the first few years Interarms imported them.
If I recall, Interarms came into the Rossi picture late 70's I think they started stamping them Puma in the late 80's. I thought LSI was responsible for the safety when they took over the PUMA lable in 97.
That should be a lot of fun in .45 Colt. I just picked up one in .44-40. I'm anxious to try it out.
