Will that Landcruiser have a teak dash and wooden sidepanels?

After all, my pickup has a plastic dash and a fiberglass camper shell.................

Ya, I wouldn't mind replacing the wife's pathfinder with a landcruiser. New ones sure are pricey. Land Cruisers are sure different now than they used to be. ;-)

The wife drives a '97 Expy with the Eddie Bauer package. Nice truck, too many gizmos. Next time around she want a Tacoma.

Nissan Quest/Mercury Villager with rear air. Bombproof, roomy, comfortable, and safe.

Check the consumer mags. Rated right with the Honda and above the Chrysler (still a nice van), but easier to find than the Honda.

My brother has one he leaves at the airfield in P.A. for when he flies up to visit his kids. It will sit for months at a time under two feet of snow and has never failed to crank first turn of the key. We drive it all over.

I hate a mini-van with a passion but I have decided the Nissan is an UrbanDelightVehicle.

It seems the minivan is suffering the same image problems as mopeds and fat chicks...all fun to ride until someone sees you doing it! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Just went the excursion route. Course we have a busload to tote around. Go for the expedition. The extra roomover the smaller suvs will come in handy hen you gotta carry the kid's friends as well.

If you simply must have a minivan, I'd look very hard at the Nissan. It's been my experience that while they cost a bit more than the Chrysler, killing one requires far more abuse and neglect than even I would be willing to inflict on such a blatant Mommy Mobile.

My wife won't own anything other than an Suzuki XL-7. She's on her second one after owning two Suzuki Grand Vitara's and two Suzuki Sidekick JLX's.

They've all been excellant rigs for her and they get good fuel milage. She swears by them.
