WTS - Remington 700 "Mountain Rifle" 1993 production in 30/06 in EXCELLENT condition. Action does not get any smoother than this one and the trigger has been gunsmith adjusted to around 3.5-4 lbs and breaks real nice. Only mod to the rifle is that gunsmith fit on a screw-on muzzle brake as well as another screw-on to return it to conventional recoil (Very nice job that makes it very convenient feature). Rifle weighs around 6.5lbs bare. I will include base and rings with the rifle if you need them. Here is a little history below. In 1993 Remington introduced what it called the Model 700 Mountain Rifle Stainless Synthetic. It featured a blind magazine and a slimmed-down mountain profile 22-inch barrel. Here are photos of the relevant pages in the 1993 Remington catalog. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v628/TimberlineX/RemingtonM700StainlessSynthetic003.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v628/TimberlineX/RemingtonM700StainlessSynthetic005.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v628/TimberlineX/RemingtonM700StainlessSynthetic004.jpgRifle has a 22-inch barrel with a slimmed down mountain profile, 1993 Remington Model 700 Mountain Rifle Stainless Synthetic. Stock is NOT the tupperware kind that is being produced today. It is much thicker and more solid. I prefer a blind magazine for lightweight hunting rifles. Yes it has some drawbacks, mainly when it comes to cleaning. But a blind magazine also offers distinct advantages - lighter weight, a trimmer look that's also feels better for one-hand rifle carry and they are 100% reliable (can't accidently open dropping all your ammunition). Less openings as well to collect dust dirt and water. Asking for $625 shipped CONUS. The suppressor alone was a $150 gunsmith job. Scope not included. Pics:

When Ronald Reagan was president, we had Bob Hope and Johnny Cash. Now that Barack Obama is president, we have NO hope and NO cash.

Doesn't look like a supressor to me,looks like a muzzle brake. If it was a supressor you'd have to go through the paperwork and pay a federal transfer tax.

Sorry, no such thing as "recoil suppressor" (check in out on Wikipedia yourself). It's either a suppressor (or "can") or it's a muzzel brake (or holes in the barrel).

But the question is, do you know the difference between a muzzle brake and a suppressor? (grin) Free Bump

Oh,yeah, free bump...
Some shooting knowledge: Don't stand in front of the muzzle. Some hunting knowledge: Too much noise ruins the hunt.
