Sounds like a new product from Marlin - WebToast!
Will It be right back, just like all the last times?
I don't know. This is a nasty crash - no "rebuilding" imo,
THIS time it's restore from tape - from scratch.
I printed out much of the 3 squirrel threads, and then there is the shawnee thread...
Well, if it's not back up in a few days, let's find another way to get together. RSVP old boys.

GBB,
I went over to John's site, but no body was there. I tried to get back on the Marlin site but no good. It looks like they are starting from scratch over there.
I'll keep stoping around here, marlin and over at star archery if i can figure out how to get in....

I think most of us Marlin boarders are coming here. I'm staying here for sure. I've put up with too much from them.

Gentlemen (and ladies):

I hope everything straightens out for you guys at the Marlin site. As I've already expressed to some of you, you guys are welcome to make this place your backup, your second home, or your new home if things don't work out over there.

As you can all probably tell, most of the activity here at 24hourcampfire has been concentrated in the Big Game and related forums. This forum as well as Lever Actions are therefore basically available to you to personalize and make of them what you wish. Anything I can do to help in that regard, please let me know. I think you'll find my policies to be somewhat more supportive and hands-on than you might see elsewhere.

In the meantime, make yourselves at home and enjoy. I'm hoping you'll stay a while.

Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to mourn the loss of the Marlin Bulletin Board. At the aproximate time of 7:23pm on 2/25/2002 the BB was pronounced dead from injurys recieved during yet another crash. The men at Marlin are no doubt sitting around a server right now with lit candles having a seyance (sp?) to try and ease our suffering. Let us all wish them luck. If they succeed maybe we can lay down our heads at night and rest peacfully knowing that we can once again gather and rejoice in our never ending Quest for rimfire knowledge. AMEN

Well as most of the Marlin regulars already know that site is offically in the process of making their move to their new server and getting set up. (They have a notice posted to that affect). No reference as to how long this will take but I'm willing to wait if they finally get rid of all the problems they have been having lately.

This is a nice site to, just wish they had a few more members posting questions and information. I'll come back later to see if there is anything new to look at.
