Pam - that is awesome about your Dad's truck! Way cool!

I concur with the others. There is just something about chicks and 4x4's. Throw a baseball cap on top of that and hoooo mama!

grin

Are you selling a straight taligate? I got a good one on there now, but can use another.

You can buy new ones, but the $300+

here's the listing for the house in case anyone wants to check out the pics and particulars. its just a tad over 1600sqft with the unfinished basement.

I've got my eyes open for a pick up out here. want something decent, not fancy but not really a fixer upper yet. maybe a late 90's something or other

Here's a link Bill. I put some stuff on there last weekend. Should be the last page on there.

So a couple of weeks ago, I put my fish house and jeep on craigs list on friday evening and sold them both saturday morning. Seemed kind of odd. $4.00 gas and a jeep with a 360 sells quick. Ice fishing is over and the fish house sells quick. hmmm maybe too cheap??

Congrats Ryan! Forget about the pictures of the house, I wanna see pictures of the garage!!

Good luck Pam. Sure is funny how inanimate objects like trucks and guns can claim our heart.

Anyone wanna rent a couple of 3 year old twin boys for awhile? Geewhiz, they can be something else. We need some warm dry weather so we can turn them out and let them destroy the yard instead of the house. They seem to think it is their solemn duty to get into everything.....more than once! eek Then at the end of the night, when Hunter crawls into bed with Wyatt, your heart melts.... grin

Like the house Ryan. By the way, how was the first week at the new job? You started the 18th right?

yup, and most of it was getting things lined up, equipment, paper work that kinda stuff. I was able to do the finalization stuff for the house and loan and everything so that was nice too.

Nice place Ryan. 2-car garage and a carport! And those kitchen cabinets look like they're made of actual wood.

That car port might have to turn into a full-fledged, certified, authorized and memorialized garage! and it doesnt look like it would take much work either.

Tell us more about the job!

already been scouting for prairie dogs smile I have one place lined up and another closer to me here I need to ask permission on but my realtor knows the guy, he knows several ranches in the area.

you do need to get a nice .223 though dave, I would suggest a savage with a heavy barrel smile

the job is restoring habitat on a 5000 acre ranch in SW SD. it adjoins the big reservoir down here and some of it used to be tilled, so that will take priority. I'm starting a new position so its been a lot of work scrambling to get everything put together and moving out here, etc.

That sounds like a great job. I cant wait to follow your progress. We are about to embark on our own habitat work. We will be planting 48 acres to nesting habitat and planting 3,414 trees (actually red cedar, black hills spruce, and a whole assortment of bushes). In addition, we have 6 food plots going into a mixture of corn, sorghum, rape, and wheat. i cant wait for it to dry out so we can get the kids dirty!
