Hi Guys, Carol was kind enough to photograph the new toy and thought you might get a kick out of seeing it. Note the two rounds below, comparing the .223 to the .50 Beowulf. Have always had a soft spot in my heart for the CAR-16 (prior experience) but will feel a lot more comfortable carrying the .50 when enjoying a WalkAbout at the ol' homestead. Just waiting on the arrival of the front Offset Pivot Pin which should be here late next week. Then let the fun begin. Best Wishes

WW,
Thanks for posting the pic. That is a great looking hammer! I guess about anything you may run across on a walkabout will need to mind it's manners or taste a chunk o' lead the size of a pumpkin!
Let's see some range results when you get it shooting. Bruce

Great looking Rifle!
I wouldn't want to shoot it in a T-shirt, but should be just right with a good coat on.
Are you loading for it or using factory rounds?

Mr. Ready_on_the_Right, We are loading for it. Don't know of anyplace up here that might even carry the rounds. Probably is, I just don't know where. We have a good assortment of goodies onhand and working up a proper load will be part of the fun. We also have a slip-on recoil pad on order. Should be here around the end of next week along with the Offset Pin. Best Wishes

It won't kick bad. About like a 3" 20 ga. or bird load 12. At least that's how mine seems to me. Let us know how your loads work out. One suggestion: don't crimp, the headspace on the mouth of the case is critical. Depending on how you bell the case mouth for bullet seating, you may need to bring it back in line with the case wall, but I had horrible accuracy and even firing problems when I tried to crimp. Alexander Arms told me not to use any crimp. Best wishes!!
We may know the time Ben Carson lied, but does anyone know the time Hillary Clinton told the truth?
