Carried my marbles in a old sock. A sock full of marbles up side the head makes for a fight stopper in a schoolyard scuffle.

Yes if there the right kind, if they were used to play with,, more than likely damaged and no value. Ones from the thirties on back are the collectable ones. Better ones are blown and have ponti scars. Some of the tinted clear fancy large sulphides (contain figurines) have gone for $2,000 to $3,000. Very rare and not your average play with marbles. Big collecting field to get into and like everything else is in a down market.

Have been collecting them for several years. Always looking for additions to my collection. Looking for vintage 3/4" and up vintage ones and pre 1930's ones. GW
