Picked this ti 708 up Monday . Added MCM, Mtn, rifle edge 2.5-8 weighs 6lb 1oz real sweeeet ! That looks like perfection. Change out the firing pin assembly for an aluminum one and the trigger guard to aluminum if you haven't already and you'll have an even 6 pounder. If that thing shoots that's about the holy grail of mtn rifles and it should

Picked this one up at a local pawn shop a few years ago, intention was rebarreling it to .250 Savage. Ended up buying dies for it, took it on an antelope hunt in Wyoming where it took 5 antelope (3 for me, 2 for brother in law), and haven't really touched it since. Nice gun, I just have some others I like better. Really is a shame. Here it is the way it came from the pawn shop, topped with a Vari-XII 3-9x40. 7-08. ![[Linked Image]](http://i562.photobucket.com/albums/ss70/cheesy1/DSC_6524.jpg) I have the exact same rifle that I bought new many years ago for a local dealer.....should use it more than I do, very accurate!
