Got one inbound and understand it replaces the quarter rib on the 1A, the 1 RSI etc. How difficult is it to take the existing rib off. PS. Bought this to go on my 6.5x55 I got a few months ago. Also, does this allow the scope to mount further back over the receiver? PS. If anyone of these has installed I'd love to see a picture. My next quest is to find a set of low or medium rings. My scope will either be a VXIII in 2.5x8, or a new FX2 in a fixed 8 that is inbound. Anyway, appreciate the help as always.
