Kosta thanks where is Safari firearms.Do you like the scope?(You must cause you bought it!)  Eye relief good? Safari are on the south side of Sydney, Australia. It is a good shop but might be a bit out of the way for you Bob.

Yep....I saw it in an email ad a while back. Who would have thought the only importer of this specific Zeiss line would have been from the great state of Alabama....

pretty sure he only carries the 3-12x50. not the 2-8x42 - pretty sure i called him and tracked him down when i was looking at the 2-8x42. wish zeiss would bring those to the states - would buy one in a heartbeat

Was in there today. The place does HUGE volume for the size of the store. Was pricing some Z3's recently(had 3-9x36 for $699) and the guy said they bought a 100 for stock.

Gentlemen,
with the AUD$ up there on level terms with the US$, we get fleeced here for certain firearms and related products.
makes you wonder who is making a buck here.
$700 for a Z3 Swaro......that's a steal.
Here they are around the $1800 mark!!!
