When the discontinued original sells for 1300 used on Broker you have to wonder what kind of marketing genius they had have at Browning. They must have hired a bunch of Remington Marketing people before they discontinued it the first time.

I have one of the originals that I gave to my son for his first deer slugger. The ungrateful creep won't give it back - I shoulda gave him a flippin' Mossberg.  I'll definately be picking up another.

I am looking to purchase a new slug gun & I am seriously considering the A-Bolt.

I do wish they had a 20 guage option available Savage has one in 20 ga. I have handled those and they seem very nice. Accuetrigger to boot.

I fondled a Browning Glod 20ga BAS, Slugger in a shop a year or so back. I didn't want to put it down. If felt perfect to me. I have nearly zero use for a slug gun, but I wanted it, and I don't even like Brownings.
I shouldda bought it.

Was it new?? Smooth bore or rifled?? USed, with hunting dings, rifled barrel. Nice condition though. dont remember the price.
