Yeah that zulu whacker comment also seemed a bit odd. I blew it off figuring it was just from a guy who does not understand the culture there or the meaning of what he said. We try to hire Zulu's exclusive at our lodge because of the better work ethic.

Anyway, back to the post. I have read plenty of posts here telling this guy to start with the 375HH as it's an easy cartridge to learn to shoot. Then to move up when comfortable. He already has a 577 or so it's stated. If he is shooting a 577 then why go down to the 375HH if he want s big bore?

I thought the term "big Bore" started at 40 cal. I know I saw it somewhere, maybe in one of Boddington's books, but most folsk from Africa describe it just like Hack does and call the 40 calibers "large, medium bores." The 375 is definetly a "medium bore." jorge

A good principle to guide me through life: “This is all I have come to expect, standard lackluster performance. Trust nothing, believe no one and realize it will only get worse…”
