Recently picked up an XS7 in .243. I needed a light hunting rifle that my recoil sensitive wife could shoot if she wanted too.
I'm pleased with the way it shoots, but wasn't pleased with the plain jane black stock. So I decided to do something about it. Did some looking around at techniques and settled on Krylon Fusion camo paint, and Krylon webbing paint.
This is the stock with 3 coats of Krylon khaki Camo paint...
This is the stock with the Webbing paint applied, and 3 coats of matte finish to protect it, and dull the Webbing paint (which is gloss)...
And here is the finished rifle reassembled...
