Man! I'm gettin' JAZZED about this hunt, and the opportunity to meet some of you fellas. I know what most of you have already found out on hunts in the past; it's a lot more fun to get on the board and "talk" to people you've broken bread with, and shared some adult beverages and maybe a little fib or three. When I was there this Spring, a woman arrowed a bison. It was not hit fatally and had to be finished off with a rifle.
The bison I saw just sort of stood around waiting to either get fed or shot.
There did not seem to be any sport to the shoot, and I would have no interest in shooting one there.
YMMV.

Mmmm...that wouldn't do much for me, either. If nothing else, wandering around looking for boars I may get to see some interesting critters.

All of the Bison 'hunts' that I've seen via You-tube and other home video were pretty much the same story. The hunter and a guide casually walked up to within 50 yards of this massive beast and shot it. Hardly any sport in that.
