Fix the trigger and do a grip reduction, or just get an M&P unless you want a 10mm.

dry firing, Triple Check to make sure the firearm is unloaded! learn how to do the trigger reset, which is merely pulling the trigger to the rear to fire it, then let the trigger travel approximately 1/4 inch forward until you hear and feel the trigger reset and pull the trigger again.

I am not a big Glock guy, either, but that video was FUN to watch! Makes me want a Colt Delta Elite or other good 1911 in 10mm.

I think Glocks are one of the easiest pistol to shoot accurate. When i hunt i use my 1911 Springfield Target because of the Adjustable sights.

as many people as we have around here to shoot up crap that wouldn't last a minute, just like the DWR is worried about feral hogs here, ummm I don't think there is anything to worry about here, make them a non game animal and the hunters here will take care of the problem

watch this guy distroy targets with a baby glock

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPvMJcmpVsQ

goodness it makes me want one now. a buddy had a glock 17 and I had never shot the thing before I said here let me wack that can out there at 25 yards, first shot dead beer can. I could shoot that gun very well for some reason, dispite a grip angle that makes me have to correct the sight picture everytime, opposed to the nature grip angle of CZ, 1911's etc.

I love my glocks. It took some time to get used to the trigger, but now everything else seems foreign. I shoot the crap out of my 9s, i've had 40s, and I pack a 10 in the woods. I don't mind if it gets rained on, muddy, scratched or whatever. I know it will work and I know I can count on it. It just works.

Hickok's vids are great. Watch a few of them. I've watched about all of them.

Very cool on the Muck test....that said I may not be a big fan of the Glock for me (they just dont shoot well for me) but I do admire how they work and how cheap they are given the reliability. Yet they are not "Perfection" as advertised nor the end all in combat handguns. IMHO. For me the 1911 has been and always will be my go to gun of choice. Glock is #5 on that list.

This is one of the things I really like about this forum and handguns in particular. There are a lot of different shooters here from all walks of life and each come with their own experiences.

The whole "my gun is better than yours" thing is present, but I admire that most of the guys here state that their choice in handguns was a personal one. "I shoot it well", "For me, I don't like the way it feels in my hands" and other such statements really add to this whole concept.

Anybody with a lick of sense and just a smudge of experience would have to be honest with themselves and admit that both Glocks and 1911's have a great time tested history of just performing when needed. They both shoot well and shoot everytime you pull the trigger.

Both of the video's on here so far were REALLY cool! It's amazing how well these auto's work.

Disclosure: I have two handguns, Glock 29 (10mm), and a Ruger Blackhawk (45LC).
