I plan to list my Hoyt and want to start at a reasonable price. It is a right hand, solid limb short draw, I believe 26-29, 60-70lb model. Currently it has a six arrow Hoyt quiver, no name 10" aluminum stabilizer and a NAP two prong rest.

Overall condition is 9.5.

What do ya'll think a good starting price would be?

Buddy and I went to Colorado to scout for deer about the first of august and stopped on the way in Chama to get a burger at the old DQ. 2 young guys came in and sat nearby and had the look. I asked if they been scouting. Got a tight lipped 'yea', had archery tags drawn. Course, I'm a OTHill senior so [bleep] me. I asked if they did any good. Nothing decent they say. For some reason I ask if they are from Farmington. Yea. I ask if they know so and so. Yea, they know him. They go to pick up the order and I tell pal-'hoyt'. They come back and ask how I know him. I tellem I take care of Nathans dad in Texas. I ask if they shoot Hoyt. Yea. We leave and pal asks, "how'd you know?". I said "azzholes and luck"

I just had a feeling the young stickup Turks were Hoyt shooters. My elk hunting bud from Ok shoots and sells them. No offense to Hoyt shooters but I thought it was kind of funny, and with the loyalty attitudes between Hoyt shooters and the guys who shoot the best I couldn't resist. wink

If ya'll know someone starting out, in my opinion it is a pretty good bow, especially for vertically challenged, stump for arms shooters like me.

I posted over on the classifieds but here it is.

I have a RH Hoyt MT Sport currently set at 26" and 62 lbs, it has a Hoyt four arrow quiver, NAP two prong rest, unknown sight and an aluminum stabilizer. This is not a speed bow, at my short draw length and at 62 lbs it shoots 228fps with 10g/inch Gold Tips.

It might hit 250 fps with a 29" draw but it is *quiet* bow.

I am pretty sure the draw length is 26"-29", it definitely has 60-70 lb limbs because I sent it to Hoyt to replace the 50-60 lb limbs within a month of buying it back in 2000 and the replacement limbs do not have the specs.

225.00 shipped

I am interested in the following for possible trades +/- cash:

RRA - Two Stage
Burris PEPR 1" mount

S&W 625 45acp - Yeah, I know fat chance

Bushnell Legend 1200 rangefinder

Redfield Revolution 3x9
Leupold 3x9 Ultralight
Zeiss Conquest 3x9

Marlin 336 35 Remington
Marlin 1894 44 Mag
Remington 580
Remington 582
Stevens 200 - 223, 243, 7-08, 308

ATV Tires - 25x10x12 + 25x8x12 and similar with 90% or better
tread

15-25 hp Johnson/Evinrude short shaft motor

Other - What do you have???
