Toad, Obvious that you don't do much business on the Internet since you are unaware that Ebay is by far the largest buying and selling venue and PayPal by far the largest funds transfer site. PayPal will tie up any funds Bricktop or any "buyer" has for many, many months while they "investigate". Meanwhile they will be the crosshairs of the Attorneys General, IRS and whom ever they chose to inform. Ever heard of the BATF ? Interstate shipment of handguns using illegally transfered funds ? Maybe a place you want to be ? Hello Eric Holder. Just trying to keep my fellow HONEST members of the campfire out of major difficultities. That's what a member who cares about his fellows as well as the continued success of the site would do. You seem to be in favor of letting the uniformed drive off the cliff. It is not ILLEGAL, just against their policy. Can a bank tell you what you can spend your money on?? Anyone with a double digit I.Q. knows it is forbidden to buy or sell firearms using PayPal. They will nail him and he will be banned for life from Ebay and PayPal. The other nasty little thing they do is forward all their information to the Attorneys General of CA (where this site is based) as well as the state of the seller/buyer.
There are horror stories out there about big money being tied up for many moons by PayPal. Word is that PayPal is also notifying the IRS about major policy violations involving attempted misuse of their funds transfer software.
