I know this will vary gun by gun. I'm curious to see if there are a couple choices that come up repeatedly, though.
So, what's the most accurate factory ammo you've found for your. 300 Win Mag?

Try the VORTEX ammo by Barnes. Barnes' TSX and TTSX bullets are usually extremely accurate, and thier on game performnce cannot be beat. Good luck!

Patrick, which bullet weight are you using in those fusions?
They shoot very well in one of my .260s.

180 grain. I reload so I don't shoot much factory ammo, but ever rifle I have shot Fusion ammo in has shot MOA or less at 100 yards. My Ruger #1 25/06 really likes it.

Does anyone have weight retention figures with on-game performance for the Fusion/Deepcurl bullet?

Federal has a very good reputation for accuracy, both in the regular blue-box line and in their premium line. My experience with a number of guns matches that, though with cartridges other than 300 Win Mag (270, 308, 30-06).

Didn't want to coment on this one but my 300 win mag loved the 150 gr. remington corelokt factory's. Accuracy is great, but the 150's (especially the corelokts) in the 300 win mag are pretty worthless......
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

I know this will vary gun by gun. Then what answer can be given other than to restate your question as a statment? It will vary by gun.So, what's the most accurate factory ammo you've found for your 300 Win Mag? Why does that concern you or in anyway help you in choosing the ammunition that will shoot the most accurate for you? Tri-age your issue. Start with the least invasive (ie expensive model avail.) What factory 300WM ammunition is the least expensive, most avail and more importantly appropriate for the game you intend to use it on? BUY SOME and shoot it. then if you are unhappy with the accuracy of that load increase the cost factor until you find a load that you feel allows you to hit your target in the vitals at the distance you intend to use it. Anything else is superfluous. You have posted the question in the hunting forum, so i am assuming that you are going to use the rifle for big game hunting. So the ability to hit an 8" circle from field position at 100 yards would be sufficiant, right? Most ammunition, most rifles are more than capable of that. Most shooters are not.
