Maker John Lloyd of Missouri
Got a nice one here to offer,my pictures are a bit all over the place today,I apologize. But the stabilized rosewood burl is drop dead gorgeous, brass hardware sets it off & a very unique & beautiful custom slipjoint folder this is.continues to improve & impress
The bolsterless "shadow" folder is light & srtong
The knife is 4" closed,7" open. The blade measures 3" from tip to handle with a 2-3/4" cutting edge. Beefy 1/8" stock 52100 carbon is hollow ground & has an "as ground" belt satin finish and a nice drawn swedge.Crescent nail nick & "pinchable" ,too. Stainles mill relieved liners. Spring (52100 carbon),is flush in all half stop positions.Very nice, smooth medium pull tension, great "walk 'n' talk". Blade is off center closed by a fraction, not a big deal.Bottom line here is where do you get one like it with no wait ?
